Try disabling ipv6 settings, what router do you have as I had issues with the Telkom Netgear router

Cannot access ISP's domain name- reset the router - no joy - cannot access any internet site - just the address of my router- and according to the router - I am connected

It sounds like it might be a DNS problem. See if you can ping your ISP's
domain name, and if that doesn't work, try an IP address of site you
know[0]. You can also try resetting your router.
