Morning Robert

Sorry for the delayed response, my internet ran out at home.
I checked this morning, and according to gParted, the filesystem of my 
linux partition is formatted as ext4. So I would say it's safe to 
presume it will work.

I think the only problem it has is with the GUID partitioning system 
that Apple Macs use, But that is only when you want to install a 
Hackintosh anyway.
