Hi Andy,

Thanks for the response. I'm not sure how much information I can give. I
am quite new to Linux. I've been using for a couple of versions now, and
have always just used SAMBA for my networking - and it always just
worked, for both wired & wireless. One of the PCs in question is
connecting via ethernet and one via wireless. I'm afraid this means that
I'm not really sure what you're asking for here.

Here however, is the output from ifconfig -a:

eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:23:5a:74:2c:83
          UP BROADCAST MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 B)  TX bytes:0 (0.0 B)
          Interrupt:46

          inet addr:127.0.0.1  Mask:255.0.0.0
          inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host

          RX bytes:581593 (581.5 KB)  TX bytes:581593 (581.5 KB)

wlan0     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 70:1a:04:84:6c:1c
          inet addr:10.0.0.7  Bcast:10.0.0.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
          inet6 addr: fe80::721a:4ff:fe84:6c1c/64 Scope:Link
          UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:12213 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:31498 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:8788412 (8.7 MB)  TX bytes:3641291 (3.6 MB)

This is for the PC that connects via wireless.
