Hello all.
i'm trying to install Ubuntu 10 from a usb to a server of mine.
the server doesnt have a cd-rom drive, so i picked up Unetbootin, and put
ubuntu 10 on it.
i can boot fine from the usb. the problem arises, when after a few steps
into the instalation, it gives me a message saying it cant find a cd rom
drive, and it might need it to install aditional files.
i can select an option to advance, and give the location of the cdrom
manually.
im now at a screen where it says "detect and mount cd-rom"
and it allows me to write the location for the "device file for accessing
the cd-rom"
what i must do so that i can continue installing from usb? is it something
im missing?
i have previously installed ubuntu on other machines, without this problem.
the server im using is a hp proliant g5.
many thanks in advance.
Regards
Bruno Marques
