Look at the bottom  "Other Documentation" for "Ubuntu Server Guide (PDF version) "

Download the PDF, search for the vsftpd  section, it will show you how to set this up

On your desktop, install gFTP, or a ftp client of your choice

Hi Guys
I put Ubuntu server 9 on my office server.
I have searched everywhere to get help on how to upload files to my www folder.
I have tried different ftp clients but I cannot upload, edit or create new folders.
It denies anything new.
I have loaded vsftpd on the server and configured the config file.
Am I missing something?
Please help
