Hi Corrie, 

Yep, that's the problem that we're experiencing as well. However, when
the spreadsheet is opened in Excel, the embedded object (.tif file) is
"physically" there and is openable. This is why I think it might have
something to do with the manner in which it is embedded more than
anything else (using the Excel embed() function).
