[ubuntu-za] Lucid crashing badly

Hi there,

Yes, I know Lucid is still in beta, however it should be stable by the
weekend, however I'm not having much luck with it at the moment.

All is working well, however at random occasions the system just
freezes, the screen goes blue or striped and NOTHING responds.

This happens at least 8 times during my working day.

Cannot restart X, cannot ctl/alt+ F1/2/3 to get a shell either, the
ONLY thing I can do is kill the power. Not cool at all. :-(

Upon booting up and looking through the logs I cannot find anything
that pertains to the crash that just happened.

I've changed nothing from the default install, the graphics drivers
are still the open source ones although I've also tried the propriety
one but that makes no difference.

The only apps running when this happens is Firefox, Evolution, Empathy
and Terminal.

My system is as follows:-
