Yes - I was planning on going that way and on installing /home in a
separate partition (if I can figure out how to do that). Can anyone
suggest a REALL:Y good tutorial aimed at idiots?
What would I need to save in /etc if I am going to re-install all my
applications? Wouldn't there be a lot of stuff in /usr/share too?
Thanks,
Bill
