Try the following for kicks:
sudo update-grub
Check if it detects your windows installation, it should say something along
the lines of:
Found Windows Vista (loader) on /dev/sda1
Found Windows 7 (loader) on /dev/sda2
(Sorry I don't have an xp install to give you the pertinant output)
If it doesn't it means that the bootloader for XP is possibly corrupted. You
should then install and do a fixmbr but only for the partition that you have
installed XP on, and then run update-grub again.
