On my netbook (an entry level sahara something), everything* just worked as
well. Including the webcam.

*: It doesn't suspend. :-(  It starts to and then it just shows a shell
cursor blinking in the top left corner, and then I can only get it back with
power off, and power back on. :-(  Does anyone have any advice regarding
this?
