Meh! Need to stop getting into the habit of hitting reply instead of reply to all on my blackberry. Below is my response to the Docters pain.

Keep me honest :-)

Heh!

Fell asleep after posting! Where's the nite owls on this channel?

I have never used bugzilla but if it is anything like the setup of mysql for instance, it would have asked u at the beginning of install, a couple of questions during setup, one of which the admin password for its use.

Easiest
- Remove and setup bugzilla again.(Assuming u haven't upgraded and have existing data - DON'T DO THIS IF U HAVE!) In command line type "sudo aptitude remove bugzilla" and after that is done, "sudo aptitude purge bugzilla". Remove just uninstalls but keeps settings. Purge 'normally' removes all traces of the software.

If u do have existing data and if Bugzilla is like mysql and if u are feeling lucky(!) try the following:

"sudo dpkg-reconfigure bugzilla"

dpkg-reconfigure runs through an applications settings again normally from initial setup. But try the removal first.

Good luck.

Thank you Sudhashen (seems you never sleep?)

I ran the suggested sudo and this is what came up at the end:

Looks like we don't have an administrator set up yet.
Either this is your first time using Bugzilla, or your
administrator's privileges might have accidentally been deleted.
