Hi Charl,

I'm not too sure about booting a partition as a VM but you can
certainly boot a VM image with Linux using either VMWare, Virtualbox,
Xen, KVM, QEMU, etc......

I run my 'doze box within Virtualbox on Ubuntu 8.10 and it works
perfectly, in fact, I have never seen Windows run as fast as it does
in a VM.
