Is it not amazing how easily one gets fooled, or is it just me. Despite the lack of messages in /var/log/messages & /var/log/syslog, I just happened to see that after I ran my script, the light on my 3G modem had altered from green to purple and low and behold I was online. --- Regards, Alf Stockton www.stockton.co.za
