[ubuntu-za] upgrade or not

I'm running 64bit hardy and it does not seem to have any problems,
performance increase according to most benchmarks are only seen when
using 64bit software,

My opinion is that unless you are using programs that only run on 32
bit, upgrade and see how it goes, it seem like driver issues are a thing
of the past in any case.

Here are some links:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/363677/Benchmarks-AMD64-in-32bit-mode-vs-64bit-mode-Ubuntu

and another one

http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=998&num=3

quite interesting results on the last benchmark link, with 3d gaming
the 32bit system wins the 64bit one...
something to consider
