Two queries:-

Anyone solved the problem of stalled shutdown of Intrepid on DELL Inspiron
6400

Good Operating System is supposed to run on Ubuntu - I followed one set of
advice and mirrored the file onto a DVD because a CD is too small but ist
simply doesn't start up when you boot.  It's supposed to be a live boot
disc.
