Hi

When I was a PC techie I learn't a cool trick to fix the SATA cable 
issue. You twist it up using a long screwdriver so it looks like a 
telephone cable. Make sure it feels springy and when you hold the two 
ends. You might need to twist them a bit more. Its the resistance that 
you want.

Plug them in. You'll never have cable falling out.

PS: They use to make them with clips but guys kept on damaging their 
devices when they pulled the cables out.
