[ubuntu-za] Vertical and horizontal refresh rates

Hi everyone.

I have an old mecer 19" monitor and cannot seem to get the proper
vertical and horizontal refresh rates for it.
Do anyone know if there is default refresh rates for a 1280x1024
resolution?
I played around with some figures and got the resolution but it does not
save it. Every time I reboot I chooses the
Highest resolution available. Then I will have to manually adjust it
again.

My xorg conf

	HorizSync		30-74
	VertRefresh		56-69
