Anyone have a Amilo Li1818?

Wired network is giving me grey hairs....It does not 'power up' at 
boot.  Laptop dual boots with Vista and under Windows the LAN interface 
is fine (well as fine as it can be under Vista)

When I boot into Ubuntu, light on the switch does not come up.  Any idea 
what to try.

Oh and btw Suspend does not work and the sis169u wireless card is not 
recognised.
