jaunty debdiff attached now, ready for review/upload:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/368049
I've built mesa with this debdiff applied and verified
that it fixes the bug on my old radeon 9600 (RV350).
The patch in the debdiff is identical to what I used to build
those DEBs that other people reported as fixing the bug previously.
I also tried to create one for karmic but after upgrading my
ATI box to karmic I can't start compiz anymore so I can't run
the repro there (besides I assume someone will upload a new mesa
fairly soonish, no?).

fixed. thanks.
