[ubuntu-x] Some intel bugs

Thanks, you would be encouraged to go ahead and forward these upstream.
We've decided to stick with EXA for Jaunty since UXA seems to have so
many bugs like these.  Even if the performance stinks for some people
(seems acceptable on my hardware though), it's better to have the
stability.
