[ubuntu-x] displayconfig-gtk superseded by what?

Hi all,
 I know that displayconfig-gtk is superseded by something else, but
what? A cursory look at the wiki throws up
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BulletProofX as well as
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DisplayConfigGTK . Now both of these doesn't
tell what transition is happening atm. Shouldn't this be updated to
tell what the current strategy is.

Please also point out any relevant sources or discussions that I may
have missed on the same. Looking forward to know more.
