Hi everyone,

Several people have mentioned that they have ideas for submissions to
our Ada Lovelace day inspired Month of Making:

"Do you make things? The Ubuntu Women team is running a competition to
find outstanding projects made by women and connected in some way to
Ubuntu."

http://wiki.ubuntu-women.org/Events/Competitions/AdaLovelace

However we've only received two submissions so far. It would be great
if we could get several more before the deadline on Friday, so here's
your reminder to submit if you were planning on submitting something
:)

It doesn't have to be a project you completed in this past month, the
goal of this competition is to showcase exciting projects women have
worked on, so feel free to submit projects you finished months ago and
are particularly proud of.

Plus, as mentioned in our latest blog post, we now have prizes lined
up from Ubuntu User (magazine subscription!) and O'Reilly (free
ebooks!):

So, make something! And please tell other women you know who may be interested!
