Before we make the decision, it helps to keep in mind that
#ubuntu-women as a channel is not isolated from the UW project. Hence,
its scope falls within the purview of UW per se (and thereby within
the Ubuntu community, for a scoop of the larger international
picture).

This is confusing on two counts... first and most importantly, the
lack of easy distinction between "#ubuntu-women" and
"#ubuntu-women-project", which is very confusing even for an old-timer
like me. Also if the latter is created specifically for the purpose of
holding meetings and other official stuff, ...well its already being
logged so why are we creating more overheads and why did we have the
vote at all? Secondly, the social aspect of any community should not
be scrapped because foo-channel is logged, or not. That privacy and
freedom** is moot with the unlogged channel.

** abstract and relatively debatable terms :)
