Hi everyone,

There have been a 3 training sessions by the Debian Women team (see
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianWomen/TrainingSessions for logs and
summaries of past session), they are doing their 4th this week.

Many of us are already familiar with Launchpad and bug reporting that
way, but if you're interested in the upstream Debian Bug Tracking
System, this session is a great opportunity to see how to navigate
that one.

== How to use the Bug Tracking System ==

As part of the Training Sessions initiative organized by the Debian Women
project [1], this Thursday we will hold a lesson on how to use the Debian Bug
Tracking System.

This lesson will cover basic aspects of the BTS, from the use of the web
interface and how one can report new bugs to more advanced topics suche as bug
handling by package maintainers. It will be led by Gerfried Fuchs, a long-time
Debian Developer.

Like the previous sessions, this lesson will take place on #debian-women on
irc.debian.org, at 19:00 UTC on Thursday 9th December.

Logs will be available immediately after the lesson at the usual place [2] and
a wiki tutorial will be created a few days later. You might want to follow our
group on identi.ca [3] for further information!

See you on Thursday!
