Its more about acknowledgment (of gnu, debian) than about explaining
the philosophy behind it. Secondly in India** most dont grok the
difference between Libre[1] software and open source ; rather a
pirated windows os is just as free (as in, $$ zero cost) as any other
*nix software. If by adding 2 extra words ("GNU" and "Debian", and
probably linking it to the parent org), confusion and misunderstanding
in terminology can be avoided, i'd prefer that :-)
