[UbuntuWomen] UW Wiki spam

Hello Everybody,

The UW wiki is having some spam trouble and the admins spend most of
their time undoing, deleting and blocking it which I am sure you all
agree is a tedious task. Currently we are looking at locking down a
few pages on the wiki but that essentially goes against the spirit of
having a wiki as a collaborative tool in the first place. So we need
more volunteers to step up and help us keep the UW wiki spam free. In
return you will get loads of gratitude and thanks for your support :)

Also, can anyone suggest a long term solution to the spam problem ?
How does wiki.ubuntu.com deal with this problem ?  Will it help if the
wiki was integrated with LP... Robin was working along those lines a
long time ago but it didnt happen finally. However since that time LP
has improved a lot and we have moved to Canonical servers so would it
be feasible now ? Can the LP devs on this list comment please ..
