Hey, not a waste of time at all ...rather I do feel bad about not
replying to each person who takes the trouble to write in here, but
life catches up and time is (always) a sparse commodity ;)

So... Hello All, and welcome to the Ubuntu World !

We are all learning and helping each other which is the best thing
about such communities.... the learning never stops ... for me atleast
:-P

Check out the UW site (http://www.ubuntu-women.org) to know more about
getting involved, contributing, finding a mentor and volunteering, the
wiki, and so on...)
There are numerous places to start out so just jump right in !!
