The following people translated the pages earlier.
 Việt ngữ - Clytie (she mainly works with Gnome translations)
Português - Susana (also an admin now)
Català - Maria Soler (the last time I wrote to her she was racing
against time for the  Gnome Womens outreach program'06)
中文  - Nlany (BTW, does anyone here know Chinese? I got the email
address from LP and did write to her but it would be easier if someone
with more linguistic skills took over communication)

Could we have some volunteers willing to co-ordinate with these women
and handle the translations.  Its simple and can be done in 2 ways :

1] communicate with them (set a timeline for the task, check if its
suitable for them, remind them to update the wiki when done).
2]  update the translations on our wiki yourself - For this you just
grab the text from the static/wiki page you want translated and when
it is done the co-ordinator will login, create & update the page,
check for cleanups, etc... This saves time for a translator.

Co-ordinating is a good way to start out volunteering if you are a
newbie and have less time. Just pitch in and you will have fun!

Great Bapoumba ! Any other community network would be a big help.
FWIW, debian-news.net is another place for news so can someone pit it
up there too. Contact Christian Jensen or Søren Reinke with the info
and links.
