For the record the LUG by me, although very male dominated, is very
nice.  If you want to encourage women to join the Linux community give
them adequate help because what discourages many women is the inability
to get adequate help.  Answers not answering questions. I have joined
Linuxchix and I will see if there is a difference with a different
ratio.
