No formal education doesn't mean you're not educated, I know you from IRC
so I know you're no dummy. Don't underestimate yourself.

I am the coordinator for one of the Linux Users Groups in my area, I've
found that more women tend to come out of the woodwork if others start
showing up at meetings. Mostly people treat me like everyone else now that
they know me (except for the few fellows who are shy and seem to be scared
of me).
