Hi everyone :)
I haven't been able to participate for a while, so I'm now trying to
catch up on my mail. I'm delighted to see so many new people here! :D
We're very lucky to have such a talented and enthusiastic group of
members. Please don't ever apologize for being yourself. We value who
you are. :)

My family is partly ethnic Chinese [1]; I am also disabled; I am 47
and a teacher, and everything is still shiny and wonderfully
distracting. :))
I love that description of yours: I have often thought of myself as
an intellectual magpie, hopping from one shiny and sparkly idea to
the next. :D

To you and all new people, welcome! I hope we see more people
delurking and sharing their experiences and ideas with us. We can
learn so much from each other, and encourage those first, new steps
which begin rewarding journeys.
