[UbuntuWomen] New to Ubuntu

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to introduce myself to the list.  My name is Darsha
Hewitt and I live and work in both Ottawa and Montreal Canada.  I have
been using
Ubuntu for the past 4 months and it is my most positive Linux
experience to date (I was working on SUSE previously).  I am a new
media artist and I use and develop documentation for an opensource
object oriented programming software called PureData: a real time
audio and image processing environment (www.puredata.org).  I often
collaborate on on artistic projects with more advanced programmers and
engineers working on FLOSS (this is something I love doing very

I look forward to contributing to Ubuntu especially with ubuntu-women
efforts.  I am often on the #ubuntu-women irc channel.  Can't wait to
