[UbuntuWomen] programming for kids

Have you seen Alice?  (www.alice.org)  It's a really nice 3-D animation
environment, in which you program the characters with all the classic OO
concepts.  I guest-taught it to a class of 4th-graders, and they loved it.

Unfortunately, the Linux version is not very stable yet.  Still, it's a neat
concept.  Oh - and it's designed to be girl-friendly!
