[UbuntuWomen] late entry

[June Bug]

Hey ladies, I've finally gotten this thing to work on my AMD. I've had the Ubuntu OS installed for about 2 weeks now but was desperate for a net connection. Finally when I got it, jus today I configured how to install the internet and updated everything. All that remains is to install a few softwares like DC++ et al. Any suggestions for development are welcome and since I am a newbie, any help, guidelines or anythin of that sort would surely do me good. For starters, I need to get acquainted with all the operating since I am not from a computer science background. I've located an unofficial wiki guide, I suppose. Should help me get started.
