Vid, myself and the other admins on the IRC channel have put together a
set of guidelines to be followed for our IRC channel on Freenode.

IRC is often an important communication tool in Ubuntu and the rest of the
FLOSS world. Learning how to use and properly behave in IRC is a step that
I want to encourage all women on this list to try.

To help this along, sometime in the next few weeks I'll be starting a
short tutorial on this list in using IRC with xchat and irssi. Please let
me know (directly or on list) if there are any particular questions or
things you'd like me to address in this tutorial.
