Hi,

I am Romana, and I am an 39yo Australian:) I have five kids, ages 20 -
3, all geeky in different ways, all linux compatible. (ms 20 uses
windows, but can use linux easily).

My husband is a freebsd sysadmin and firefighter (hes multidimensional):)

I work part time for an open source company doing telephony solutions :

There, I work in Python, MySQL, Ruby on Rails, do hardware testing, ARM
flashing, and favourite of all, Manual development.

I helped start ITShareSA, a community non profit, devoted to taking
donated hardware, refurbishing, and giving it to low income groups,
communities, and individuals, here and overseas,in areas like East
Timor, and Africa. We use Ubuntu on our systems. I have taken a break
from this, as 8 years of setting this up from scratch was pretty full
on, but it has been an amazing and rewarding experience.

I love documentation, and have previously worked training software
engineers at Motorola, and find training to be a real joy.

Can be found sometimes in IRC, depending on what the small ones think I
should be doing;)
