I recently got to use a Pinephone and Fairphone - super short use - my
samsung battery died - used
the guy phone who was with me... I didnt like either. We were working
in the middle of nowhere and
had access to Tmobile and the phone (fairphone) was slow to dial -
like very very slow. Just used it
three or so times until mine was charged. Back at the hotel he showed
me his pine and it didnt work
any better. He had gone thru a few others that I didnt recognize the
names of. That killed any desire
I had to move off Android. I would think a base android os on your
phone of choice would be a better
option.
