scribus-doc package installs files as belonging to root

/usr/share/scribus/doc/en$ ls -lhrt index.html
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2.0K Jan 23 2022 index.html
This works:
nano index.html
Looking at the directory in Nautilus and clicking on index.html yields this
error message:
"Firefox can’t find the file at /usr/share/scribus/doc/en/index.html."
Right-clicking on index.html in Nautilus, selecting properties, the
permissions, yields:
Owner root
Access read and write
Group root
Access read only
Others
Access read only
Ahh. I think this is a snap issue. Looks like I need help from a snap
expert on how to give Firefox those permissions...
