Disapearing launcher & menu bar [Noble]

Hi

Every time I reboot into Noble Unity,  I lose launcher & menu bar, more 
correctly I have just wallpaper and a mouse curser, I cant Ctrl+Alt+[num] for a 

terminal

this has happened so often I can get them back by deleting .config & and 
reboot, all other ways seem it fail, I would like to know "if" there is a way 
to stop the lose? as resetting everything everytime is a PITA

I update & full-upgrade each time also (hoping it "may" cure)
