Odd Mantic/Wine/BK7 problem

Hi all

Last night I did a full-upgrade of Mantic ehich included Wine 9 rc4 to Wine 
rc5, as usual I then run one of my Wine apps (BK7 update to 7.5.14) that way 
Wine config gets updated, all seemed well but update could not find my BK7 dir, 

trying BK7.5.13 that also seemed to be doing something but failed (silently)

A check of ~/.wine/dosdevices/D/ showed that BK7/BK7w.exe was there (along with 

another dir/app)

I tried the other App (Winpm32.exe) which worked fine, the only obvious 
difference between the two is winpm32.exe is self contained where BK7w.exe uses 

windows DLL's & OCX's

I rebooted into Jammy and tried the same process both worked, (wine D:\ is in 
home on jammy so wimpm32.exe & BK7w.exe are the same for both

I'm baffled same wine version, same app's for Mantic & Jammy

any poimters pls
