Hi Jeff,

1. Have you enough drive space left?

2. Are you experiencing file system corruption?

3. Can you send the results of a hex dump of a faulty bash script to here?
Something like:
$ head -1 hello_world | od -A x -t x1z -v

Where your script name replaces hello_world in the above example.
