Thanks a lot for that idea. I was spending last weekend to enable dual-boot on a refurbished PC which came with Win10 Home. After installing Kubuntu I started Windows from the GRUB menu and every time Windows rewrote the boot setup disabling Kubuntu. Now I tried it your way and it works - very nice.
