No need to shout.

I found that, in contrast to 'do-release-upgrade' (which failed a couple 
of times and so never tried anymore), just changing sources was always 
the cleanest way. Such upgrades, though major, have never failed here. 
Lots of servers and desktops maintained that way for over 20 years.
