It means if you call ASUS for a technical support issue and ASUS asks 
what OS you have installed and you say Debian, you'll probably be told 
the only Linux OS's validated to run on their product are the ones you 
just listed.

Why do you want to switch from Ubuntu? Snap phobia? Seems irrational to 
switch to a different OS just to avoid a technology (which can be 
disabled) that you were using previously (with the livepatch service).
