bootable thumb drive issue

That seems to be a different issue.

When I click F12 for boot options and select the usb option, the screen 
goes black, a "_ " comes up and would stay there for a period of time and 
then return to the boot option list. I did get several variations on that 
but the result was the same - no boot. At least not until I changed the 
legacy boot option.  Which is strange because my other thumb drives all 
boot just fine. I was playing with KDE Neon and it started right up, as did 
Kubuntu 20.04 (which I still had laying around).
