true, I prefer the output format of --upgradable and if there is a lot (more
than one screen) I can add |less to read it all

much the same as I had (minus the -y) also I have apt autoclean, I did have
&& shutdown -r (or last thing at night -P)

I may give that a go, I tend to keep my history short though and use && more
