100% this.

And Bret does it _repeatedly_. He has called Ubuntu malware, accused
Canonical and Mozilla of active, hostile malfeasance, and multiple
other companies and organisations.

I am on this list because, 19 years ago, I found a really good new
Linux distro, it rapidly became my OS of choice, and unlike SUSE which
for me it replaced, it was entirely free of charge. They didn't want
my money. So I joined the list and tried to use my
already-nearly-a-decade _then_ of Linux knowledge to help others.

It's a great product and it's totally free.

Bret consistently complains about it and unjustly and unfairly accuses
companies and people, giving him great software for nothing, of
hijacking his computer, deliberately breaking it, sabotaging him, etc.

This is not merely ungrateful; it is far above and that. It is much
worse than ingratitude to curse and complain at someone who is giving
you a gift.

And yet, *I* am being told I am wrong when I call him out for this.

It is infuriating.
