thanks, but that only moves the problem, doesn't it? For example, on MY system, the
same aptitude query returns:


 aptitude why wslu
i   digikam Recommends www-browser
p   wslu    Provides   www-browser

so the question becomes: why on Earth should any Linux package, on a
Linux system, need to install a **windows-compatibility package** to
open local files, or web pages, with the surely available Linux
applications? Is this in any way related to the firefox-as-snap thing
I mentioned in my original request?
