Hi,

that's a good advice. It seems that I'm mistaken, just connecting the
USB stick by the menu   Device > USB > [x] Name of the USB flash drive
after the guest environment is created might not work, but adding an ISO
from USB as a virtual disk when creating the guest environment seems to
work. OTOH booting from an USB drive seems to be possible, too, but
USB 3 might not be supported...  However, the OP still should tell us
what version of VirtualBox is used, what steps the OP does and what
error message VirtualBox displays.
