VirtualBox boot problem

Hi,

I have a Windows 10 boot (install) on a USB flash drive which I want to
put on a VM.  My system is Mint 20.3.  I download VirtualBox from the
Mint repository but it doesn't support boot (install) from a flash
drive.  I suspect that the VirtualBox in the Mint repository is very
old.  I tried looking at the posts in the official VirtualBox forums but
found nothing there about what to do.  In desperation, I am posting here
because I can usually get good advice on this site.

I downloaded from the official VirtualBox site two versions for the
software.   I am unsure which one I should use the files are named...

virtualbox-7.0_7.0.6-155176~Debian~bullseye_amd64.deb

          and

virtualbox-7.0_7.0.6-155176~Ubuntu~jammy_amd64.deb

There is not a version specific to Mint Linux.  I heard that Mint Linux
is derived from Ubuntu Linux which in turn is derived from Debian Linux.
I remover the Mint version since I suspect that it is faulty.  Which
version should I use?
